Babbo Rosso IGT Ravenna Randi Vini 2019 $14
100% Centesimino. Ruby red color and beautiful transparency. Hints of compact and ripe dark fruits such as currants, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries as well as referring to a ripe dog rose jam, blackberry pesto and cooked fruit. White pepper, cinnamon and star anise on the finish. Well balanced between nose and mouth, on the mouth the acidity is accentuated with an astringent and youthful but not impetuous tannin. The flavor is present but not invasive thanks to the tannins, embellishing the sip. In the center of the mouth there are black pepper and ripe fruit, crunchy acidity and tannins that tempt you to drink.

Powerful on the nose, this full-bodied wine has a dense core of forest strawberries and sweet cranberries with the warm essence of vanilla bean and subtle nuances of sandalwood. pSoft tannins create a round mouthfeel with dense notes of blackberries underscored with a hint of rosemary and cloves. The midpalate is dense with balanced acidity that supports a satisfying, velvety aftertaste.
