24 Hour Salad | |
2 cans (7 oz) dark sweet cherries – pitted 1 can (11 oz) mandarin oranges 2 cups green grapes – seeded 2 cups miniature marshmallows 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1/4 cup frozen concentrate orange juice – thawed 1/4 cup sugar 1 cup heavy cream – whipped Drain cherries and oranges. Combine cherries, oranges, grapes and marshmallows. In a double boiler combine eggs, orange juice and sugar. Cook until thick and smooth. Cool. Fold in whipped cream. Add dressing to fruit, mixing well. Refrigerate for 24 hours. |
